Square Bear proudly presents his first signed and numbered limited edition creation. Inspired by the Mackenzie Trench police box found throughout the UK starting in 1929, and made famous worldwide by a certain TV show you might know.Though the boxes are almost extinct in the wild (a few remain, it’s possible that three still remain in Glasgow), you can now celebrate history and nerdery with this accent-light lantern.
Handcrafted from wood and lined with rice and mulberry paper, the lantern is lit by a remote-controlled color changing LED bulb. Choose the color that fits your current mood, or set to an ever-shifting color change. It even makes a fantastic nightlight.
Only 40 of these will be made for sale, so make sure to grab yours before they vanish to embark on new adventures.
The lanterns are 8″ tall, and 4.5″ wide and deep, and layered for detail, making a substantial piece you’ll be proud to show off far into the future.
