One Unusual Policy
Square Bear Studio will not support GoDaddy hosting. By this we mean site hosting plans, not simple domain registration (if you simply registered a domain with them that’s fine, though we recommend that you don’t give them that business either). The reasons for this are both technical and ethical.* If you have purchased hosting from them and wish to work with us, we will help you move to a better hosting company. We have finally had to say “enough” with this particular company: if you wish to host with them, that is your right and we support that right. However, we will not be able to work with you.
* Simply do a search for “Godaddy” and “elephant” if you want to understand one of the ethical issues. We implore you not to actually watch the video, unless you want your day ruined.
